About us
Haft Arms was founded at the beginning of 2025 by Ondrej Šauša. The original idea was to build on his years of craftsmanship and engineering experience to create poleaxes, axes, and other blunt weapons. That vision even inspired the name Haft Arms.
Instead of pursuing the original plan, we chose to return to what we knew best and what the HEMA community needed most. Drawing on our years of experience in designing and producing HEMA weapons, Haft Arms set out to deliver reliable, high quality gear.
Soon after, the team began to form. Old friends and skilled professionals joined, including an engineer, an IT specialist, and an automation expert. Together we share one goal: delivering professional HEMA weapons with consistent quality and fast delivery times.
We partnered with our friends at Trnavský šermiarsky cech, Anton Kohutovič and Martin Tibenský. Both are highly respected fencers with years of tournament and training experience, and their expertise was invaluable in defining the best parameters for our first and main product, a professional tournament feder.
